"All I have to say is FINALLY! How long have I wished for a NICE place to go and bring my three young kids where it was not only OK for my kids to be but kids are ENCOURAGED! My kids and I ran to Bumble in Los Altos when it first opened, in fact we went both consecutive opening days. Bumble is the The Ritz Carlton meets Bing Nursery School - THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS - LUXE CAFE and completely about kids. Bumble offers a magical playroom with babysitting while you leisurely sip your coffee or wine and watch your children through the huge aquarium. The FOOD is outstanding. I had the Salmon Nicoise salad the first day and Gluten Free Pumpkin Pancakes the second with a Mimosa for brunch. The kids loved their lemonades, waffles and sweet potato fries! And don't even get me started on the Four Barrel Coffee- the best. This is our new go-to place!"

"Bumble is a dream come true.  Finally got a chance to check it out today, we arrived bright and early when they opened at 8am.  My babies loved the fish tank and had the run of the place for a while.  Bumble is very well thought out with a ton of kid-friendly seating, toys and books all over.  We enjoyed the food for adults and kids.  Then the playroom opened at 9 and our 2 year old had a wonderful time - we were delighted because she doesn't usually take well to strangers but she had a ball while we had our coffee.  As Bumble got more crowded, the feel definitely changed and it was a less relaxing environment, which is to be expected with kids running all over, but the kids still had a ball.  A few brave adults ventured onto the adults only patio, but the vast majority of the crowd had babies and young kids.  Loved the latte and french press coffee, and the oatmeal was very good.  Fresh squeezed OJ for my daughter in a kid-friendly cup along with dried fruit.  Ended up spending $50 for 1.5hours visit (including, breakfast and coffee for 2.5 plus $8 for 30 minutes in the playroom), but it was well worth it and we'll be back."

"AWESOME concept!!!!. An enjoyable experience for both kids and adults. The menu is super cute and healthy for the kiddies and equally pleasing for the adults. A great place for play dates for the kids.  The food: I can't wait to try the breakfast... seems like it will be a great place to stop by after the gym. Great salads- super fresh and I like that they will let you do a 1/2 salad and cup of soup. 5 stars on the menu and execution. Seems like the chef/kitchen is health conscious :)  The ambiance: cute playroom for the kids and a cool outdoor sandbox.... Clean :) = 5 stars.  Overall this is a cool place to take the kids and have a healthy yummy bite to eat.. Excited to see a kid friendly restaurant in the area."

"I have been following the construction but I never imagined just how beautiful it is inside! Top notch through out! I even checked out the kids area, which I love kids (mine is in her 1st mo of college) and miss the little years but they have so much to offer to keep the kids entertained all day. The food was wonderful, flavorful and extremely fresh. I'm also glad to see that Bumble supports local suppliers, farms and organic foods. I really tasted the difference! Thank you for a great evening!"

"Fantastic concept.  Adults and toddlers/young kids co-existing in peace.  Many classic nooks for family, including a 2000 gallon fish tank!  Healthy snacks and food available while the kids can be in a supervised play area.  Thrilled to see this in Los Altos.  A great opening on it's first day!"

"Holy cuteness batman! I met a friend here for lunch last week. We are both childless, probably the only ones there without little ones. It appears to be a mom hangout, complete with a sandbox and stroller parking!

The decor and branding is very well done, I'm feeling inspired to paint my front door yellow. The owners did a phenomenal job designing the space.
The food is great and very fresh! We had the prosciutto sandwich and both cleaned our plates. There were multiple things on the menu that I was torn between, so you are sure to find something to order! Next time, I think I will get the Salmon Nicoise Salad!"

"I am an instant fan!  Will definitely be back with the babies in tow.

What it is:  it is hard to describe this place but it would be cafe meets gymboree meets relaxing lounge meets affluent suburbia.  The concept is wonderful - a converted house with different areas - living room, playroom, patio, sandbox for kids.  Essentially, it is like hanging out at someone's house except it comes with servers and a very nicely done playroom for the little kids.

What it is good for:  I know this place is catered towards leisure moms of the affluent los altos community who want to bring their kids here to hang out with other leisure moms of the affluent los altos community - but I really enjoyed it even as non-leisure mom - I worked here on my laptop for a few hours with free fast wifi at a large table next to a bright window - essentially, way more pleasant than small home office.  This definitely beats many of the cafes -- it is bright and cheerful and generally quiet - at least on a weekday morning.    You get free Wifi as well.

This concept also solves many of the typical playdate issues -- whose house (because frankly, the thought of cleaning up after a crazy playdate is just not appealing), what food (good selection of healthy food and drinks) and how to entertain the kids while you try to have some adult conversation (the playroom and the general kid friendliness).

I must say the playroom looks so fun that even I want to play in it - the toys look clean and developmentally appropriate - my favorite part of probably the large fish tank, which I am sure will please any kid.

In terms of prices, it is not cheap - but this is los altos, so you do expect them to price to the affordability of patrons and be able to get away with mediocre food.  However, I don't think food is the focus of this place.

Service was great also - they were responsive and checked on me multiple times.

Bottomline - highly recommended, this will now become my default 'playdate' location so that my friends and I can hang out and chat while the little ones can occupy themselves in the playroom."

THANKS TO ALL OUR FANS for the GREAT REVIEWS!!!
